A Fantastic Day At Groby Club - The Royal Wedding Off-Street Party!
More Pictures and Video will be published to the site soon; the youngest up-and-coming future members enjoyed themselve too - Burgers, Ice-cream, Bouncy Castle and even their own Private BIG Screen Cinema Experience. If parents' want a copy, or a particular frame edited or removed - let the Webmaster / Club Secretary know. What a Sspectacular and Brilliant Day we Folks In Groby Had - A Huge Congratulations to the Royal Couple from their Loyal Subjects, in Groby, Ratby and Surrounding Villages!!
We must extend a huge thanks to Simmo for the brainwave - and all the guys and galls - front-of-house and behind the scenes, who made it all come together! In no specific order - and if some names are ommitted - sorry! ... Russ (Dodge!), Terry, Eddie (VP and 'getting Dutch Courage'??  :-), Tony  (Ent Sec), Richard (Club President), Adey (Bar Manager) AND HIS BRILLIANT TEAM, Liz, Kev, Ann M (Stock Sec), Duffy, the girls supervising the Bouncy Castle, Danny on the Door, Sall, and every other buddy who got stuck in; and helped put the Club back together! AND cleaned up the very healthy mess afterwards. An especial thanks also to Mr Mark Brymer and Staff at Hinckley & Bosworth  Borough Council, for sorting the Legal Necessities to ensure good times were had by all.  I Take My Hat Off, and Salute You All.
Sincere regards and thanks, John Hagan, Club Secretary.
